Remote SmartTV is a local-only TV remote control app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the app operates.
Remote SmartTV does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data — including TV connection details, app settings, and PIN — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
TV IP addresses and pairing credentials are stored locally to establish connections. This data is not shared with any third party.
Microphone audio is streamed directly to your TV in real time and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
Your PIN is stored securely on your device using the system keychain. Biometric authentication uses your device's built-in system and is never accessed by the app.
All app data is stored on your device only. We use the system keychain for sensitive data (PIN, pairing keys). No data is transmitted to our servers.
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to receive anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These services do not collect personally identifiable information.
Remote SmartTV does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require account registration or any personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
